Position Details

• Job Title: Assistant Executive (Operation)
• Total Vacancies: 400
• Employment Type: Fixed-Term (3 Years, extendable up to 2 more years)
• Job Location: Across NTPC plants (transferable as per company requirements)
• Salary Package: ₹55,000 per month + allowances
• Work Mode: Shift-based, including night shifts

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized university with at least 40% marks.
• For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, passing marks are acceptable.

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the operation/maintenance of a power plant with an installed capacity of 100 MW or more.

Age Limit (As of the application closing date)

• Maximum Age: 35 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC-NCL: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government norms

Vacancy Distribution

Job Responsibilities

• Operation & supervision of power plant equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and SOPs.
• Identifying and troubleshooting operational issues.
• Shift-based work, including night shifts.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by NTPC management.

Salary & Benefits

Fixed Monthly Salary: ₹55,000

Additional Benefits:

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting based on qualification & experience.

Medical Fitness Requirement

• Candidates must be medically fit as per NTPC’s health standards.
• Pre-employment medical tests will be conducted before joining.
• No relaxation in prescribed medical requirements.
